There is always a Way

THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY – THE ROOF TOP (Luke 5vs18-19)

In this account, some men brought their friend to Jesus so He could heal him. But getting to the place where Jesus was, the place was filled to the brim. There was no way for them to get through even at the door; which was supposed to be the only access (their only option to reach Jesus, to get to where he is).

But instead of giving up on their mission, seeing that the door was filled and their access blocked; they thought of another way to reach Jesus – the Roof Top.

These men refused to back down or even get discouraged, rather, they were motivated to look for another option to still achieve their goal. They chose to do something extra-ordinary; something beyond the norm. They went through the roof top to get to Jesus. Amazing!

Are you faced with a similar situation? Do you feel you have exhausted all options? Don’t get stuck. Don’t give in just yet. There is always a way…

Pause and Pray,

Ask God for Direction

Look inward and Meditate

There’s always a way to get it done

There’s always a way to achieve that goal.

If you feel the door is filled or the road is blocked,

Do the unusual

Do the extra ordinary

Defy all odds and

Go through the “Roof Top”, if you need to.

A CHRISTIAN?

Who you are and what you need to know.

Knowledge is power they say.  Who are you? A Christian? What makes you a Christian? As a believer, there are some fundamental truth we need to know about who we are. We are not just Christians by name; our status changed the day we gave our lives to Jesus Christ.

But sadly, as vital as what happened at the instance of salvation is, many are ignorant of it. Many Christians lack the knowledge and some do not have the understanding of what happened to them. They do not know what actually happened at Salvation, which is what the devil rides on and glory in to challenge believers. Thus, if you do not know who you are, you will be abused and molested.

What happened at Salvation?

  1. Change of Leadership/Ownership: By inviting and receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you simply rejected the devil’s lordship over your life. Jesus now takes over from the devil. Colossians 1v13
  2. You become a New Creature: Old things have passed away. Your records of sins were blotted out. Some Christians does not live in this consciousness. 2Corin 5v17
  3. You have a New Life: You no longer belong to the world Jhn17v16
  4. Your status changed – Eph2v6, 1v20-21, Col2v15
  5. You were given Power and Authority. Luke10v19, Mark 16v15-18, Luke 21v15
  6. You become a god, as you are made in his image. Ps82v6, Rev5v10

All these took place at Salvation amongst others. Live in the consciousness of these and enjoy a glorious Christian life.
